Under contract with the City of Orange, Truxaw and Associates completed the civil engineering, aerial and land surveying and the right-of-way engineering for The City Drive and Chapman Avenue critical intersection. Truxaw also partnered with several consultants to provide a full design package that included structural engineering, traffic engineering, soils engineering and landscape architecture.
This three-million-dollar project included traffic studies, property acquisitions, roadway realignment and widening, parkway landscaping and private parking lot modifications.
Adjacent to UCI Medical Center, this intersection now flows uniformly with minimal wait times. The Truxaw team remained in constant communication with the City of Orange to ensure project approvals as well as responses to RFP’s during construction.
